The United Arab Emirates have launched a national anti-money laundering course, organised in collaboration with the Spanish Interior Ministry.
The one-week programme which started on Sunday 28th February, includes representatives from the UAE’s Ministry of Justice, the UAE Central Bank and the Federal Customs Authority.

The UK’s leading fraud prevention service, Cifas, has welcomed Companies House into the National Fraud Database (NFD) membership – marking a significant step forward in the UK’s efforts to combat identity misuse, economic crime and corporate fraud.
Searches in coronavirus fraud investigation

On Friday, September 4, 2026, the FIOD conducted searches in a criminal investigation into fraud during the coronavirus pandemic. During the searches at various locations in the Netherlands, various data carriers, records, watches, bank accounts, and residences in both the Netherlands and abroad were seized.
In early 2021, preparations were made to gradually reopen Dutch society following the coronavirus measures. An important part of this was the Testen voor Toegang (Testing for Access) program, for which Stichting Open Nederland contracted private test providers to operate coronavirus testing locations. The costs of this were financed with government funds.
