LATEST: FATF says ‘huge progress’ made as 76% of countries have now satisfactorily implemented agency’s recommendations

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has today revealed that 76% of countries supervised have now “satisfactorily implemented” FATF’s 40 Recommendations. 

The figure marks a significant increase from 36% recorded in 2012, which FATF says demonstrates the “positive impact” of the watchdog’s Mutual Evaluations and Follow-up processes.
