NEWS: Lloyds Bank pilots quantum computing to fight money mules

LLYODS Banking Group has tested quantum computing to detect money mule activity, in an effort to use the new technology to strengthen financial crime controls.

The bank assessed whether quantum algorithms could identify suspicious patterns within large volumes of transaction data. Such patterns are often difficult for traditional systems to detect.
