PATRICIA Dunne, a director at the Central Bank of Ireland, will speak at ‘European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2026’, it’s been announced.
Ms Dunne, Director of Horizontal Supervision Directorate at Ireland’s leading financial regulator, joins a stellar list of influential industry figures speaking at EAFCS2026 in Dublin on April 29.
The summit, the compliance sector’s leading annual event, will be the biggest edition of the conference yet. Almost 1,000 C-suite executives, policymakers and top regulators are set to attend. Early Bird tickets are now available [HERE].
Ireland’s Tánaiste and Finance Minister Simon Harris will open the event, which is organised by AML Intelligence, at the RDS in Dublin. AML Intelligence organises the AFC Summit Series in Dublin, London and Brussels.
Ms Dunne was appointed Director of Horizontal Supervision in January 2025. In this role she is responsible for system-wide risks. These include financial crime, operational resilience and technology risks.
Patricia has more than three decades of regulatory, supervisory and policy expertise. She has worked at Ireland’s Central Bank for over a decade, also holding the position of Director of Securities and Markets Supervision.
Her addition comes shortly after INTERPOL Secretary General Valdecy Urquiza confirmed he will attend the summit.
The AFCS series in Dublin and London are a key platform for industry leaders to discuss the most pressing issues in anti-financial crime.
The Dublin summit offers attendees the chance to hear from high-profile speakers. It also emphasizes networking with influential decision-makers in the field. This year’s event takes on additional focus as Ireland takes on the Presidency of the European Union Council – making Dublin the centre of EU decision-making.
Further leading speakers, panellists and sponsor partners will be announced soon. Full details of EAFCS 2026 are available [HERE].
