NEWS: OFAC fines private sports school IMG Academy $1.7m over cartel links

THE U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has fined IMG Academy $1.7 million for sanctions violations linked to individuals tied to a Mexican drug cartel.

OFAC said the Florida-based boarding school entered into yearly tuition agreements with two parents santioned under U.S. counternarcotics laws.
