LATEST: UK’s HMRC fines 170 real estate agents for AML breaches

THE UK’s HMRC has fined 170 estate agency businesses for AML breaches, with most penalized for missing registration deadlines.

The tax authority issued 369 penalties across all sectors, with a total value of £1.9 million ($2.6 million).
