LATEST: ECB warns of crypto firms choosing EU countries with ‘lighter’ AML controls

SOME crypto companies may choose to operate in EU countries with ‘lighter’ AML controls, according to the Chair of the ECB (European Central Bank) Supervisory Board.

Claudia Buch said that the ECB must work with AMLA, the EU’s new AML Authority, to tackle these issues.
