LATEST: Barclays using AI to relocate jobs to India

BARCLAYS will shift jobs to India and target £2 billion in cost reductions over the next three years as it looks to expands its use of AI.

Chief executive C.S. Venkatakrishnan said the bank also plans to return more than £15 billion of surplus capital to shareholders by the end of 2028.
