NEWS: Dutch banks take ‘risk-averse’ approach to AML, finance watchdog warns

MANY Dutch lenders take a ‘risk averse’ approach to applying AML rules, which may have a negative impact on customers, the country’s central bank has warned.

DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank), the Netherlands central bank, called for more ‘proportionality’ in how companies apply rules.
