FINSCAN, a prominent AML tech firm and a subsidiary of U.S. firm Innovative Systems, has appointed two new senior leaders.
Becki LaPorte joins the company as Principal for AML Strategy and Innovation, while Christopher Ostrowski becomes Product Management Leader.
The company said both bring extensive experience in financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, and fintech development. LaPorte will lead FinScan’s AML strategy and innovation agenda.
“She will collaborate closely with FinScan’s product, marketing, and client-facing teams,” the company said. It added that she will “deepen thought leadership, inform product direction, and foster innovation in areas such as sanctions screening, perpetual KYC, model validation, and AI-driven compliance”.
Before joining FinScan, LaPorte was Strategic Advisor for Fraud and AML at Datos Insights. She also founded Exodus Partners Group and previously held senior roles at Advisor Group, CSI, and FINRA.
Ostrowski, who holds CAMS and CRCM certifications, was most recently Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product at FinClusive. He also held leadership positions at Wells Fargo focused on operational risk and BSA/AML program management.
“His extensive background in both regulatory compliance and fintech innovation positions him to advance FinScan’s product roadmap,” the company said.
It added that this will help ensure clients “benefit from technology that remains both operationally efficient and aligned with evolving regulatory expectations”.

FinScan provides AML compliance and data management tools to financial institutions worldwide. Its services include KYC, sanctions screening, and risk scoring, offered through SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid models.
