NEWS: US money laundering prosecutions drop by 24% as Trump focuses on deporting migrants

THE number of people charged with money laundering has sharply dropped as the Trump administration ordered enforcement agencies to focus on deporting immigrants.

So far this year, 24% fewer people have been charged with money laundering compared to the same period in 2024, court records show.
