NEWS: FinCEN says drastic reform of BSA is ‘long overdue’

FINCEN, the AML (anti-money laundering) unit of the U.S. Treasury, has said reform of the BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) is “long overdue”.

James Martinelli, a top policy official at the organization, said the legislation “has not been comprehensively updated in a number of decades”.
