NEWS: ‘We are still in early stages of our work,’ says AMLA chief; aims to hire 120 this year

But we also know that designing a system that is both effective and realistic will take time."

AMLA, the EU’s new AML watchdog, has accelerated its hiring drive and now aims to have 120 staff by the end of 2025.

This is up from its previous estimate of 80 workers by the end of the year.
