INSIGHT: Why logistics company Fracht must hire 9 compliance staff after breaching US sanctions

THE U.S. Department of the Treasury OFAC has announced a $1.6 million penalty against a US-based freight forwarder, Fracht Group – located in Houston, Texas.

This penalty, while not as big as others we’ve seen so far this year, serves as an important reminder that sanctions compliance cannot be optional.
