NEWS: Turkish officials target banking staff in $1.2B money laundering probe

TURKISH authorities have issued arrest warrants for 85 people, including staff from two private banks and a fintech firm, in a large-scale money laundering investigation, according to local media reports.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office is leading the probe, which targets organised crime, usury, regulatory breaches, and laundering of criminal proceeds.
