NEWS: ANZ bank staff accidentally notified of firings by automated email

AUSTRALIA’S ANZ bank apologized after bankers earmarked for job cuts were notified they would be fired in an automated email.

The Australian lender sent the messages on Wednesday. Managers then held an online call later the same day to confirm which employees would lose their jobs.
