NEWS: German AML watchdog BaFin warns banks of quantum computer risks

BAFIN, Germany’s Financial Intelligence Unit, has warned how quantum computers will likely soon be able to break traditional encryption methods.

The organization also said banks must develop defences for this new technology, as well as risks from artificial intelligence.
