Risk Management and Adherence Manager – Danske Bank

Danske Bank is searching for a financial crime expert to join the 1st line Financial Crime Business Risk & Control function for Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I). This is a business wide, key senior position with an overall remit to both advise and manage the risk appetite of the Business as well as driving an agile transformation agenda with a goal of developing a “best in class” function for the bank.

Investigate large data sets and generate insights

The 1LoD Financial Crime LC&I Risk Management and Adherence team is a newly formed team primarily focusing on the end to end risk management agenda for LC&I.  The team’s primary focus is on the yearly Group Wide Risk Assessment exercise, supporting product owners in identifying Financial Crime risks and controls for all newly created or amended products and services in LC&I and issue management.

You will be providing support on all aspects relating to the Financial Crime element of the Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, as well as:

  • Following-up on the findings from Compliance, Audit and external regulators.
  • Liaising with the data team to generate FC KRIs (including translation of the requirements and definitions, setting the data parameters).
  • Create presentations for Senior Management including KRIs, graphs, etc. and the relevant data analysis.
  • Project management for FC projects on an ad-hoc basis.

The team also manages the LC&I FC Risk Committee and has oversight of its subcommittees.

Solid experience within Financial Crime

We are looking for you with solid experience working within the Financial Crime space. You also have:

  • Experience and good working knowledge of Financial Crime risks and controls
  • Experience creating meaningful MI and reporting (dashboards, PowerPoints, KRIs, etc.)
  • Excellent use of excel, macros, etc.

You are an effective communicator at all levels with the ability to translate financial crime specific requirements to relevant stakeholders.
