The Financial Crime Operations (FCO) & Financial Crime Intelligence Unit (FIU) ensures that in-scope Deutsche Bank systems are at all times being used in accordance with the legal and regulatory Anti-Money Laundering framework within the UK and EU, and to escalate issues of concern to AFC Management in a timely manner.

You will report to the Regional Head of Financial Crime Operations & Intelligence (FCO&I) and in the absence of the Regional Head of FCO&I you will assume delegated responsibilities and report into the Regional Head of AFC UKI (MLRO).

Your key responsibilities

·         Support the Regional Head of FCO&I in creating an organisational culture that places high priority on effective investigations and adherence to sound internal controls, including standards of conduct, integrity and ethical behaviour for the FCO & FIU

·         Ensuring global standards are implemented in the UKI region which are consistent with between jurisdictions

·         Direct management responsibilities for Case Resolutions/ Suspicion Activity Report (SAR) team and will support the Regional Head of FCO&I with the management of the wider FCO & FIU

·         Deputise for the Regional Head of FCO&I for the development of new Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/ Count Terrorism Funding (CTF) rules and controls

·         AML/CTF Subject Matter Expert (SME), especially around investigations and emerging trends and typologies and subsequent SAR filing

·         Providing the Regional Head of FCO&I with periodic and ad-hoc, consolidated reporting

Your skills and experience

·         Considerable experience in either a AML/CTF role; legal, law enforcement, compliance or regulatory background, preferably within the financial services industry

·         Working knowledge of Transaction Monitoring and case management systems combined with experience in corporate fraud prevention, detection and investigation

·         Demonstrable background in managing a financial crime investigation teams

·         A strong background in a FCO/FIU operations with a broad knowledge of AML/CTF investigations and ideally with Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or International Compliance Association (ICA) designation

·         Knowledge of Wealth, Markets, Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Asset Management, Correspondent Banking products (beneficial)
