David Fein named as Special Advisor to Standard Chartered CEO

It has been announced that David Fein, current Group General Counsel at Standard Chartered Bank will transition to Special Advisor to Standard Chartered CEO.

In a Linkedin post, Mr Fein said he would also be joining the London office of global law firm, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

Mr Fein added that in his new roles, he would “prioritise work in building and supporting public private partnerships in support of finding new and innovative ways to fight financial crime, including illegal wildlife trafficking and environmental, social and governance matters”.

Mr Fein said he was looking forward to supporting Standard Chartered CEO Bill Winters and the Management Team, as well as Chair Jose Vinals and Board.

Mr Fein spent eight years working as Group General Counsel at Standard Chartered, and previously served US Attorney for the District of Connecticut, and Lecturer at Yale Law School.
