FATF President Elisa de Anda is to deliver the Keynote Opening Address at ‘European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2026’ #EAFCS2026 in Dublin on April 29 next.
Her comments will be of huge interest to supervisors, banks and obliged entities as the Fifth Round of Evaluations are being carried out.
Ms de Anda will join a line up of more than 60 speakers, including Interpol Secretary General Valdecy Urquiza, Europol Deputy Executive Director Jean-Philippe Lecouffe and Ireland’s Minister for Finance Simon Harris as well as the top global experts on AML, AFC and FCC in banking, fintech, VASPs, technology and obliged entitites.
Tickets are now available [HERE].
The event will mark one of Ms de Anda’s last public speeches as President of the FATF. Her two-year term, which has been described as a “game changer” for the compliance sector, ends on June 30. Giles Thomson will succeed her as the next FATF President.
EAFCS, the compliance sector’s leading annual event, will be the biggest edition of the conference yet. Almost 1,000 C-suite executives, policymakers and top regulators are set to attend.
The event is organised by AML Intelligence at the RDS in Dublin. AML Intelligence organises the AFC Summit Series in Dublin, London and Brussels.
The AFCS series in Dublin and London are a key platform for industry leaders to discuss the most pressing issues in anti-financial crime.
The Dublin summit offers attendees the chance to hear from high-profile speakers. It also emphasizes networking with influential decision-makers in the field. This year’s event takes on additional focus as Ireland takes on the Presidency of the European Union Council – making Dublin the centre of EU decision-making.
