Hungary makes progress against money laundering and terrorism funding, MONEYVAL report finds

The Council of Europe anti-money laundering agency, MONEYVAL has issued a new follow-up report yesterday and has acknowledged Hungary’s efforts in their “enhanced” measures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. 

The report states Hungary has exhibited good improvement in the degree of compliance with the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) criteria.
