Chair of UK All Party Anti-Corruption Parliamentary Group says dirty money ‘contaminates’ UK’s public sphere

The Chair of the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax, Margaret Hodge has said the UK has been a “laundromat” for corrupt wealth.

Ms Hodge highlighted the UK’s approach towards laundering illicit gains and the current corruption of the British democracy, in an opinion piece for the Financial Times.
