BitMEX co-founder pleads guilty to AML breaches and fined $10M (€9M)

BitMEX co-founder Samuel Reed has pleaded guilty to anti-money laundering failures and agreed to pay a $10M (€9M) fine. 

In Manhattan Federal Court, the chief technology officer pleaded guilty to a US law that requires financial institutions to curtail illicit uses of services.
