LATEST: €12.35BN in dirty crypto recorded in 2021 as industry report reveals ‘significant problem’ with illicit digital payments

Criminals pocketed a record €12.35BN ($14BN) worth of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other digital currencies in a latest crypto crime report.

These come as a result of scams, ransomware and thefts involving digital currencies, and cryptocurrency crime reaching a record high in 2021.
