‘Disappointing’ that none of Australia’s big four banks will send reps to AML inquiry – Senator

Australia’s four biggest banks have chosen not to send representatives to a national anti-money laundering inquiry, and the lawmaker who launched it is not happy.

Last week, Westpac, National Australia Bank (NAB), ANZ, and Commonwealth declined invites to speak during two days’ worth of hearings concerning Australia’s AML defences and the expansion of laws.
