AML expert and journalistic source handed prison sentence for laundering millions in profits from embezzlement scheme

A former university professor and financial crime expert has himself been handed time behind bars this week for money laundering offences.

Bruce Bagley of the University of Miami was a frequent go-to for US journalists seeking professional commentary on financial crime issues, but this week, a New York court sentences him to six months in prison for laundering millions of dollars.
