US Treasury still hesitant about regulating sectors vulnerable to AML – expert

The United States Treasury could finalise a set of important anti-money laundering regulations “within a few short months,” if it concentrates on investment funds, real estate, and fine arts, one expert has said.

But it remains hesitant, and that is what’s holding back progress on these issues, he warned.
