One charged with laundering, several arrested in major UK clampdown on fake passport scheme; UK Security Minister praises ‘fantastic result’

One man has been charged and several others are under investigation after UK authorities dismantled a criminal network providing passports to some of Britain’s most wanted individuals.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) believes hundreds of the UK’s “most notorious organised criminals,” had benefitted from the scheme before it was shut down, including national fugitives and international drugs and arms traffickers.
