Three charged in United States over investment fraud and laundering scheme that caused losses topping $155M

Three people have been charged in the United States for orchestrating a fraud and laundering scheme worth over $155M.

They are accused of engaging in a Ponzi-style operation of misleading investors about the ultimate destination of their funds, siphoning off millions in the process for their own personal gain.
