Gambling CEO resigns in Australia amid extensive money laundering allegations that cost new $2.2BN casino its operating licence.

The chief executive of Australia’s biggest gambling group has resigned – the latest development in a scandal that continues to tie the company to allegations of widespread money laundering.

Ken Barton’s departure as CEO of Crown Resorts comes barely a year after being appointed, although Mr Barton had been working with Crown in some capacity for over a decade.
